Harvested the traditional way, by hand in a canoe in the pristine waters of Minnesota. Wood parched and hand winnowed. You can taste the difference of this fine quality fresh rice.
This year we were able to plant 1500 pounds of our green rice in the St. Louis River Estuary with Clean Water Action. Excited project they have been doing for a number of years to re-establish tradition rice waters.
